Job summary

CAMINUS, an Indianapolis-based lithium-ion cell manufacturer, seeks a Formation and Testing Technician to run formation, aging and electrical testing of cells, ensuring each unit meets quality standards before it moves to assembly or shipment.

You will load/unload cells, monitor cycles, perform tests like OCV, ACIR, DCIR, and record data in MES and logs, while maintaining 5S practices and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years in manufacturing, lab or test environment preferred.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and perform data entry.
• Willingness to wear PPE and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cells into formation and grading equipment following work instructions.
• Start and monitor formation, aging cycles; respond to alarms and faults.
• Run tests such as OCV, ACIR, DCIR and self-discharge checks.
• Record data in MES and production logs; flag trends to engineering/quality.
• Follow 5S and contribute to continuous-improvement efforts.
• Complete shift handoffs with notes on status and counts.
