Job summary

Rincell Corporation in Fremont, CA is seeking a hands-on Battery Technician/Engineer to support cell development, manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting across the end-to-end process.

You will work at the R&D and pilot-line facility, performing slurry mixing, electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, formation, and teardowns, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with battery cells in manufacturing, development, or testing.
• Experience with battery cell manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience with pilot-line equipment and battery materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform slurry mixing and materials preparation for battery electrodes.
• Support electrode manufacturing including coating, drying, calendaring, and slitting.
• Build battery cells and support cell assembly processes, equipment setup, and troubleshooting processes.
• Perform cell formation, aging, electrical testing, and performance characterization.
• Conduct cell teardowns and document observations, failure modes, and findings to support root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing, test, and experimental records; summarize results and communicate issues to the team.
• Operate and maintain R&D and pilot-line equipment while following safety procedures and work instructions.
• Support process development, experiments, build plans, and troubleshooting with R&D and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with materials handling, inventory tracking, equipment readiness, and continuous improvement of cell manufacturing processes.
