Job summary

Lithion Battery Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Battery Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The role involves assembling lithium-ion batteries, loading cells, aligning connectors, gluing covers, soldering, and assembling lids.

You will work with various machines, follow SOPs, apply FIFO, manage workload, and maintain a safe 6S environment while communicating effectively with teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, automation, or assembly is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative team player with great problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of quality systems and the ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned product manufacturing tasks while operating a variety of machines.
• Follows work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) given by your team lead.
• Understands and applies First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
• Analyzes, estimates workload, and performs multitasking efficiently.
• Optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed.
• Maintains a safe, tidy, and compliant 6S work environment.
• Understands department workflow processes and maintain high attention to detail.
• Complies with internal policies and industry regulations.
• Maintains excellent communication with co-workers, both written and verbal.
• Works independently, asking questions when needed.
• Performs other duties outside their scope of work as assigned and required.
