Job summary

Aved Electronics in Houston, TX, is seeking a Battery Assembler | Charger to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble lithium-ion cells, align connectors, glue covers, solder, and build battery lids, following SOPs and quality guidelines.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, good hand-eye coordination, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills and software familiarity.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Collaborative team player with problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of quality systems and ability to follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs assembly tasks with various machines and equipment.
• Follows SOPs as directed by team lead and production guidelines.
• Applies FIFO principles and efficient workload management.
• Analyzes workload and multitasks to meet production goals.
• Adjusts machinery/settings to optimize production efficiency.
• Maintains a safe, clean, compliant 6S work environment.
• Communicates clearly with coworkers, verbally and in writing.
• Works independently and asks questions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned within scope.
