Really Great Reading is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to deliver high-quality literacy training and support district implementation across partner schools. You will coordinate, tailor, and deliver professional learning for educators and administrators in virtual and in-person formats.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in professional development, a deep knowledge of structured literacy, and the ability to translate concepts into classroom practice.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area, within 30 minutes of Prince George's County, Maryland.
• 3+ years of experience in professional development, training, instructional coaching, or EdU services.
• Strong knowledge of literacy instruction, structured literacy, and the Science of Reading.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating professional learning for educators and district leaders, both virtually and in person.
• Experience supporting instructional program or educational technology implementation in school or district settings.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and ability to adapt training for different audiences.
• Ability to translate instructional concepts into practical classroom strategies.
• Experience using feedback, surveys, or participation data to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training engagements and collaborate across teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% to support in-person training and district partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate training schedules with district contacts and internal teams.
• Deliver engaging virtual and in-person professional development for educators, administrators, and support staff.
• Adapt training content, delivery, and pacing to audience needs and district goals.
• Provide follow-up resources, coaching, and instructional support for classroom application.
• Partner with Regional Engagement Managers to align learning with district plans.
• Support district partners and educators through the customer journey.
• Build positive relationships with teachers and district stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on literacy instruction and program implementation.
• Monitor implementation and adoption data to drive outcomes for students.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with district partners for a consistent training experience.
• Review training surveys and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and improve delivery.
• Track participation and engagement; share observations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and other teams to improve training materials.
