Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional (Instructional) to support students in an in-school suspension setting. You will reinforce literacy and math skills, support small groups, assist with assessments, and help maintain a safe, orderly classroom.

This role includes non-instructional duties such as lunch supervision and student supervision during transitions, assisting teachers with materials and parent communications, and participating in IEP processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Assist students with reading, language arts, mathematics and computer instruction.
• Support in small groups and individualized learning plans.
• Assist with assessments and record-keeping.
• Assist with classroom behavioral management and a safe learning environment.
• Assist with non-instructional duties such as lunch supervision and bus duty.
• Assist with parent communication and involvement as needed.
• Assist students with special needs and IE P processes when required.

Responsibilities

• Guide students to reinforce reading, language arts and math skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist teachers with exercises, tests and assessments.
• Prepare instructional materials and reinforce instructional content.
• Document student progress and performance.
• Support classroom behavioral management and safety.
