Job summary

Nottingham School is seeking a dedicated Reading Aide to support students' literacy development in a part-time role (5.5 hours daily). You will work closely with teachers to reinforce reading skills, provide individualized support, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages a love of reading.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and small group instruction, monitoring progress, adapting materials for diverse learners, and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary education preferred.
• Experience with children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of reading development and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to collaborate with teachers and staff.
