Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fluency in a second language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction for ML students according to guidelines.
• Guide students' social development and implement classroom rules.
• Communicate with supervising teachers regarding student progress.
• Maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working with diverse linguistic and cultural communities

Language fluency in Hmong, Spanish, Somali, or Karen

Education

High school diploma or GED

AA, AS, AAS or higher degree

Two years of post-secondary coursework

Passing score of 460 on the ParaPro Assessment
