The Boys’ Club of New York Inc. is seeking a Literacy Instructor to work with boys in grades 1-4, under the Education Director, leading small-group and whole-group reading activities and helping instill a love of reading.
This part-time, non-exempt position offers 10 hours per week at $35.00 per hour, located at 321 East 111th St, New York, NY 10029. A Bachelor's degree and literacy experience are required.

Under the direction of the Education Director, the Literacy Instructor will work with boys to improve literacy skills and enrich the love of reading in grades 1-4. S/he will lead small-group,?leveled?guided reading sessions and whole-group read-a-louds and reading comprehension activities. Literacy Instructors will be strongly supported by the Education Director.?
