Job summary

Utica National Insurance Group is seeking a candidate to support underwriters in improving efficiency across our personal and commercial underwriting processes. This role focuses on providing timely service to distribution partners, handling risk reviews within authority, and making recommendations for workflow improvements.

The position involves completing preparatory underwriting tasks for quotes, new policies, and renewals, processing amendments, and serving as the main liaison for agency

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Equivalent work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Complete preparatory underwriting tasks for quotes, new policies and renewal policies in accordance with the corporate workflow.
• Process amendment requests within authority levels in accordance with the corporate workflow.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for agency CSRs on communication related to follow-up and maintenance of underwriting file information.
• Underwrite small renewal policies within authority levels.

Education
