Utica National Insurance Group is seeking an underwriting support professional to assist in risk selection and pricing decisions. You will respond to distribution partner requests and provide timely service, reviewing designated risks and making recommendations as needed.

The role involves completing preparatory underwriting tasks for quotes, new policies, and renewals, processing amendments, and serving as the main contact for agency CSRs on file maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare under­writing tasks for quotes, policies and renewals according to workflow.
• Process amendment requests within authority levels per workflow.
• Serve as primary contact for agency CSRs on underwriting file follow‑up and maintenance.
• Underwrite small renewal policies within authority levels.
