Job summary

Sibley Liquor Mart is seeking a dedicated stock/merchandise associate to receive, stock, and organize liquor products. You will handle deliveries, verify invoices, and maintain clean stock areas in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, accurate shelving, customer assistance, and compliance with alcohol regulations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with experience in beverage retail a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in liquor/beverage retail is preferred.
• Experience stocking and handling alcoholic beverages.
• Familiarity with major liquor brands.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise.
• Knowledge of alcohol retail regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload liquor, beer, wine, and other merchandise.
• Verify shipments against invoices.
• Stock shelves, coolers, displays, and storage areas.
• Organize inventory by brand, category, size, product type.
• Rotate stock and monitor for damaged or expired items.
• Maintain clean stockroom, sales floor, and cooler areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and report issues.
• Safely lift and move cases and heavy merchandise.
• Assist customers with locating products.
• Maintain attractive displays.
• Follow store policies and laws.
• Assist with restocking during busy periods.
• Report spills or hazards.
