Job summary

Idaho State Liquor Division seeks motivated individuals to join our state-operated retail network. You will provide excellent customer service, greet shoppers, verify IDs, process sales, and manage inventory in a full-time capacity.

This role includes opening/closing duties, balancing receipts, stocking, and maintaining store security while supporting merchandising and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age to sell liquor per Idaho Code.
• Experience with basic arithmetic (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and decimals).
• Reading instructions written in English.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and answers questions about product content, use, and price.
• Checks ID and denies service to underage or intoxicated customers.
• Processes payments by cash, check, or credit card and makes change.
• Receives and verifies licensed-bar orders and operates cash register.
• Opens and closes store, balances receipts, and deposits cash.
