Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the Liquidity platform modernization. You will gather and document requirements, analyze liquidity data, coordinate testing, and maintain governance documentation to enable a future-state platform while supporting the existing Liquidity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IS, CS, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, financial systems, data analysis, or technology project delivery.
• Experience eliciting and documenting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data definitions, use cases, and functional specs.
• Knowledge of data flows, relational databases, interfaces, data transformation concepts, and SDLC.
• Proficiency with SQL and Excel to analyze large datasets and document findings.
• Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing, regression testing, defect tracking, and validation.
• Familiarity with data governance, quality checks, lineage, change controls, and procedure maintenance.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of Treasury, liquidity risk, regulatory reporting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, process-mapping tools, cloud data platforms, and analytics tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery sessions with Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Finance, Data, and Tech.
• Draft and maintain BRs, user stories, data definitions, and traceability.
• Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps and automation opportunities.
• Perform SQL/Excel data analysis to validate source data and calculations.
• Coordinate with tech and data partners to clarify requirements and track progress.
• Prepare test scenarios, cases, data; execute UAT and regression tests; log defects.
• Support phased implementation, pilot validation, and documentation.
• Monitor data/system issues; coordinate remediation; communicate status.
• Prepare status updates and stakeholder communications; escalate risks.
