Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a hands-on, safety-conscious Test Technician to support liquid rocket engine tests. You will fabricate test stand systems, assemble hardware, and work with engineers on hotfire campaigns in a high-stakes environment.

Requires 2+ years in mechanical systems or test operations, and the ability to operate heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols. This role offers growth in cutting-edge propulsion development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience with mechanical systems or test operations in aerospace or related environments.
• Ability to operate and maintain mechanical equipment and fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and maintain test infrastructure and hydraulic/fluid systems.
• Operate test systems, install instrumentation, and support hotfire tests.
• Document results and maintain safety-focused work practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare and execute test campaigns.
• Maintain training and certifications as required.
