Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Process Engineer to bridge R&D and Manufacturing for liquid products. The role focuses on scaling pilot processes to full production, establishing robust procedures, and supporting trials and investigations with cross-functional teams.

You will draft master records, SOPs, and required documentation, troubleshoot process issues, and train floor personnel to ensure compliant, high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field with 5+ years process engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Experience in liquid dietary supplement manufacturing and cGMP operations preferred.
• Experience with pilot-to-production scale-up, batch records, change controls, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical liaison between R&D and Manufacturing for new and transferred liquid products.
• Lead trials, scale-up activities, and investigations to ensure robust processes.
• Draft and maintain master manufacturing records, process specs, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and identify root causes across formulations and equipment.
• Train manufacturing personnel on new processes and document improvements.
