Job summary

Dallas One Solutions is seeking a seasoned Process Engineer to bridge R&D and Manufacturing for liquid products. You will own plant trials, establish robust processes, and translate lab formulas into scalable manufacturing instructions.

The role requires 5+ years in process engineering, experience with liquid dietary supplements, and strong problem-solving and documentation skills. Travel and floor presence are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 5+ years of relevant process engineering, manufacturing support, scale-up, or commercialization experience.
• Experience in liquid dietary supplement manufacturing and cGMP operations preferred.
• Experience with vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts, suspensions, emulsions, oils, gums, fibers, proteins, flavors, colors, acids, sweeteners, preservatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between R&D and Manufacturing for liquid products.
• Own and guide plant trials, process verification, and validation with cross-functional teams.
• Translate laboratory formulas into executable commercial processes including equipment and parameters.
• Draft, review, and revise manufacturing directions, SOPs, and technical reports for floor personnel.
• Assess manufacturability and scale-up risk including equipment capacity and transfer conditions.
• Provide on-floor technical leadership during pilots, scale-up, and investigations.
• Troubleshoot processing issues such as dissolution, dispersion, foaming, and filling performance.
• Determine root causes across formulation, materials, equipment, or methods and coordinate cross-functional response.
• Develop and execute structured trials with defined objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Collect batch data and evaluate results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement process improvements to enhance first-time-right performance and reliability.
• Support deviations, nonconformances, and CAPA effectiveness after implementation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Purchasing to evaluate new materials when differences may affect processing.
• Train personnel on new processes and capture feedback for documentation updates.
• Follow cGMPs, SOPs, safety, and data-integrity requirements.
