Job summary

Horizon Ag-Products in Onawa, Iowa is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our liquid manufacturing facility. You will own safety, quality, production, cost, reliability, and people, running the site as a business rather than a production line, with up to 15 direct reports and full site accountability.

The role covers raw material receipt through filling, packaging, and shipment, requiring hands-on leadership to meet safety, quality, delivery, and financial targets while enforcing EHSSQ

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Chemistry, Operations Management, or related field.
• Equivalent experience considered for management/operations roles.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises up to 7 employees; coordinates with Assistant Plant Manager on scheduling and ERP/data administration.
• Lead plant safety, environmental compliance, quality, production, cost, reliability, and people.
• Own capital projects, ROI tracking, and plant governance.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Chemistry, Operations Management, or related field)
