Job summary

Polaris Huntsville is seeking a maintenance-oriented technician to join the team. You will troubleshoot basic mechanical systems and assist with PM and minor repairs in a fast-paced environment.

You will document procedures, maintain logs, and ensure safe startup before production while coordinating with shifts to reduce downtime. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2-year related technical degree preferred for this role.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe and healthy manner, following all rules.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs.
• Support autonomous maintenance initiatives.
• Document standard procedures for tasks.
• Maintain data logs for documented processes in liquid paint.
• Understand environmental compliance requirements.
• Ensure proper startup of the system prior to production.
• Communicate status between shifts clearly.
• Assist production to minimize downtime.
