Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an Organic Chemist/Scientist to advance the fatty-acid project, developing and optimizing synthesis and purification for lipid materials used in cell-culture media. The role emphasizes multi-step synthesis, robust purification, and scale-up readiness, with cross‑functional collaboration across R&D, Analytical, and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or related field; or a Bachelor's with substantial relevant industrial experience.
Strong hands-on experience in organic synthesis and multi-step routes.
Proven purification of complex organic molecules using chromatography.
Experience interpreting HPLC, LC-MS/MS, NMR, and FT-IR data for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Ability to troubleshoot reactions independently and design efficient experiments.

Responsibilities

Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments for synthesis and process development of lipid-related compounds.
Develop and optimize synthetic routes focusing on yield, purity, and scalability.
Develop purification strategies using chromatography and preparative techniques.
Characterize materials using HPLC, LC-MS/MS, NMR, FT-IR, and related analytical methods.
Troubleshoot synthesis and purification issues to meet internal specifications.
Support scale-up and transfer of processes to manufacturing.
Document protocols, development reports, and technical summaries; ensure traceability.
