Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager (Innovation) for a beauty brand in NYC. The role supports a lip innovation pipeline, packaging, artwork, shade naming, and cost governance, with onsite responsibility in NYC and a 6-month contract covering MAT leave.

You will work across global markets to support lip core business and assist in launch assets, dotcom pages, and agency coordination, interfacing with packaging, R&D, finance, and legal teams.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in beauty industry, preferably color cosmetics and innovation.
• Experience managing end-to-end product innovation and commercialization.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting, P&L, and business case development.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to analyze market, consumer, and competitive data.
• Experience with packaging development and artwork processes.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office Suite.
• Circana / Nielsen data platforms preferred.
• Experience with project management and workflow systems.
• Experience with commercialization and artwork approval systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help create and develop the lip innovation pipeline, including packaging, artwork, shade naming, and financial stage gate management.
• Help manage overall global lip portfolio needs; support global markets with varying requests and needs related to lip core business portfolio.
• Assist in creative development of launch assets and dotcom / PDP pages; briefing and managing agencies and bringing launch concepts to life through photography.
• Help manage cross functional partners - interfacing with packaging, R&D, product development, creative agencies, supply chain, global markets, research, finance and legal.
