TEKsystems in Irvine, CA is hiring for a contract role focused on integration testing of software and hardware systems. The position emphasizes Linux/Unix familiarity, documentation, and defect tracking to ensure reliable releases.

The role requires developing test plans, conducting regression tests, troubleshooting issues, and supporting engineering teams across the business. Onsite, contract position with benefits eligibility for a temporary engagement.

Description

Assist in the development, testing, release, and integration of software and hardware systems. Responsible for integration testing of LRUs and system functionality, maintaining test rack configurations, validating software releases, regression testing, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, developing test plans, documenting results, tracking defects, and supporting engineering efforts company-wide. The role requires strong testing fundamentals, Linux/Unix familiarity, attention to documentation, and the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.40/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
