We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise Linux systems operating in a live production environment with high reliability and uptime requirements. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration, including practical application, troubleshooting, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing operational support.
The candidate should have solid networking fundamentals, including protocol usage, DNS, and system-level troubleshooting, along with scripting skills and storage concepts such as TrueNAS and LVM. Responsibilities include working with vulnerability scanning tools such as Rapid7 (or equivalent), investigating CVEs, determining remediation approaches or justifications, and executing patching and security remediation activities.
This position requires a self-driven professional capable of working predominantly independently with minimal supervision while ensuring stability, security, and performance of production systems.
Exposure to enterprise SysAdmin and high-availability technologies is expected, with working knowledge of platforms and tools such as Kubernetes, Corosync, DRBD, Pacemaker, MQ Series, Oracle Virtual Server, Solaris 10/11, SPARC systems, RHEL, Ubuntu, SPARC virtualization, and OSSEC. hands-on familiarity is preferred.
