WHO WE AREThe Senior Systems Administrator works as part of a team in the Test Site Engineering organization at the Moorestown, NJ location. They work to solve end-user computer system problems while also improving performance on platforms/operating systems such Linux RedHat and RedHawk. In addition, they also evaluate and install COTS software products and tools.
THE WORKSpecific responsibilities include:
• Hardware and software installation / de-installation (COTS and custom software).
• Configuration management, build automation and release engineering.
• Fault detection and fault isolation.
• Volume backups, system monitoring and clean up.
• User support and working knowledge of internal/external network interfaces.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level. Requires U.S. Citizenship.
WHO YOU AREWe are seeking individuals with:
• The ability to write scripts in at least one administrative language.
• Experience working with RedHat LINUX and supporting Linux based users on a LAN, including configuration management, build automation and release engineering.
• Excellent customer and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to blend technical skills and responsibility to user needs.
• Great attention to detail and who are able to process multiple jobs at the same time.
• Familiarity with all facets of system administration including; tactical environments, network operations, user account creation and management, security OS patching as well as security auditing.
• Knowledge of RMF Compliance and familiarity with the DISA STIG’s are helpful.
• Active Security + Certification is desired.
• Have in depth knowledge of Linux and are willing to increase their knowledge in each.

- Configuration management and change management experience using tools such as Git, ClearCase, and ClearQuest.
- Linux Operating System knowledge, ability to solve end-user computer system problems, while working independently in a lab environment.
- Candidate must be able to obtain Security + certification
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level. Requires U.S. Citizenship.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
