Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, Indiana is seeking a qualified IT/engineering professional to join our team. You will participate in hardware and software installation, configuration management, and release engineering to ensure secure, reliable systems for critical defense programs.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in engineering or STEM, at least 2 years of related experience, and strong Linux scripting abilities, with the ability to obtain an active US DoD SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years related professional experience.
• Configuration/change management experience using Git, ClearCase, and ClearQuest.
• Ability to write scripts in at least one administrative language.
• Linux OS knowledge and ability to solve end-user problems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US DoD SECRET clearance.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Hardware and software installation / de-installation (COTS and custom software).
• Configuration management, build automation and release engineering.
• Fault detection and fault isolation.
• Volume backups, system monitoring and clean up.
• User support and working knowledge of internal/external network interfaces.
