Job summary

Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Cyber Security Software Engineer to design, implement, harden, and sustain secure mission systems. The role spans CONUS/OCONUS environments with strong DevSecOps focus and collaboration across software, security, and program teams.

Requires 9+ years in cybersecurity and systems engineering, DoD Secret clearance, and expertise in Linux/Windows security, automation (Ansible), and NIST standards. Hybrid on-site 3 days/week with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field; equivalent experience considered.
• 9+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, IA or related experience.
• Experience securing Linux and/or Windows in enterprise or mission environments.
• Experience with automation tools, specifically Ansible.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and NIST 800-171.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support secure architecture development and system accreditation activities.
• Automate security controls within CI/CD pipelines and monitor vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with software, infrastructure, security, and program teams to ensure mission-system security.
