Job summary

Motion is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator in Birmingham, AL, to assist with the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of its enterprise technology environment. You will manage Windows and Linux servers, VMware infrastructure, and provide troubleshooting support for O365 products.

The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor's degree with five years of experience in systems administration, as well as hands-on knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.

## Linux Systems AdministratorApplyremote type: Hybridlocations: Birmingham, AL, USAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R26\_0000018336**SUMMARY:**Under limited supervision, the Systems Administrator III assists with the design, implementation, maintenance, and primary support of Intel platforms within Motion’s enterprise technology environment. This includes Windows and Linux servers, VMware, ESX infrastructure, storage, Active Directory, O365, development support & planning of systems and applications infrastructure, and 3rd-level endpoint support as needed. This role requires strong knowledge of server and desktop processing/operating systems that enables them to work at the highest level of all computer operations phases.
