Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a DevOps Engineer / Linux Administrator to optimize enterprise Linux environments through automation, CI/CD, and system administration. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency, performance, and reliability, building end-to-end pipelines and maintaining secure, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting Linux in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible Core, GitLab CI/CD, FlexDeploy or similar technologies.
Experience with Ansible and Jenkins.
Strong knowledge of DNS/Networking and networking debugging with packet capture.
Strong scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, Zsh, Ksh, or Csh.
Experience with REST APIs and secure environments.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise Linux environments.
Perform Linux system logging, auditing, patching, and performance tuning across production and non-production systems.
Develop and maintain automation solutions for Linux administration and related processes using Jenkins and Ansible Core.
Troubleshoot and resolve Linux issues.
Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure for CI/CD, cloud, containers, and security.
