Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues in production.

We are seeking a Linux Infrastructure / Operations Support Engineer to support and manage critical Linux-based infrastructure within a large enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Linux infrastructure experience with hands‑on operational or end‑user support.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and work effectively in a production environment.
• Willingness to work a 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM shift and participate in a weekend rotation.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week during the first 6 months, transitioning to 3 days onsite thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SRE experience or knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering practices.
• Experience supporting financial services or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling, messaging platforms, databases, or GRID computing environments.

This is a hybrid position based in Pennington NJ or Jersey City, NJ. The role requires 4 days onsite per week for the first 6 months, followed by 3 days onsite per week. The scheduled shift is 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM, with participation in a weekend support rotation.
