Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Linux Graphics Software Engineer to design and develop Linux Vulkan and OpenGL graphics software for our GPUs, focusing on Wayland support and driver quality. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and test automation, ensure performance on Linux-based OS, and contribute to architecture and features for current and upcoming GPUs.

The role requires a bachelor’s or higher in EEE/CS/CE, 3+ years Linux graphics software, and 3+ years C/C++

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (or equivalent).
3+ years hands-on experience developing graphics system software for Linux.
3+ years of programming in C and C++.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Bonus: experience with Linux gaming development.

Responsibilities

Define, design, and implement Linux Vulkan/OpenGL graphics software and automation.
Develop and maintain software for GPU hardware on Linux, across OS versions.
Collaborate with test automation to identify regressions and ensure quality.
Coordinate with worldwide teams across software, hardware, architecture, and OEM support.
