Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

Long-term Contract

As the Linux Engineer, you will assist with the design, engineering, development, and support of information technology solutions. You will support the design, analysis, development, and implementation of Linux infrastructure solutions for projects and enterprise efforts, focusing on reducing tech debt. You will play a key role in building new Red Hat Linux servers / VMs and collaborate with our Operations team to ensure successful deployment of patching, security updates, and other maintenance activities.

You may participate in piloting new technologies involving servers, networks, web, and databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Linux Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer in an enterprise environment
• Strong technical proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, Splunk & ServiceNow
• Preferred technologies include Dynatrace, CMDB, VMWare & Python
• Experience supporting large, scalable enterprise environments

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, implement, and support RHEL enterprise systems
• Assist in engineering, deploying, and building Linux systems
• Research, design, automate, manage systems, patch, deploy, troubleshoot, and tune performance for Linux OS
• Automate patching and deployment processes with the latest technologies
• Recommend and implement environment changes to maximize system availability
