Job summary

AIS is seeking a Linux Automation Administrator to join a highly skilled Federal Contract team. You will manage RHEL and Ubuntu servers, build and maintain Ansible Playbooks, and oversee Kubernetes clusters across secure networks. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and strong communication to collaborate with leadership and stakeholders.

The position focuses on cyber investigations, digital forensics, and mission support, offering growth and impactful projects for national security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 3+ years in IT/Cyber/Engineering.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with CaC tooling, Ansible preferred.
• Experience managing RHEL and Ubuntu in disconnected environments.

Responsibilities

• Provision, manage, and support RHEL and Ubuntu servers across connected and disconnected networks.
• Develop, utilize, and maintain Ansible Playbooks for secure configuration and patching.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and workloads; configure network, storage, and firewalls.
• Deploy monitoring and alerting; perform root cause analysis and prevention measures.
• Support deployments of new hardware and software and appliances.
