You will automate, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, collaborating with government stakeholders and contract teams to keep systems secure and high-performing.

The role emphasizes scripting, configuration management with Ansible/Satellite, and strong communication to maintain critical mission systems.

Qualifications

• Top Secret / SCI w/ CI Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or AIS + 10 years of experience.
• 5+ years supporting system software in heterogeneous, multi-platform environments.
• Proficient in Bourne/Bash and Expect scripting.
• Experience managing Red Hat Satellite repositories for patching and custom kernel builds.
• Familiarity with Ansible and Satellite Server for automated configuration management.
• Experience with identity management systems (LDAP, token-based authentication).
• Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to analyze, debug, and maintain complex scripting codebases.

THE ROLE

As a Linux Administrator SME on our Centralized SuperComputing Facility (CSCF) team, you’ll support day-to-day operations of HPC systems that power ciritical operational systems. You’ll work directly with contract teams, end users, and government stakeholders—automating, troubleshooting, and ensuring our supercomputing infrastructure runs at securely and at peak performance.
