Job summary

Lindsey Management Co., Inc. in Oxford, MS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance of the Links at Oxford Apartments and the on-site clubhouse. You will oversee all maintenance operations, ensure safety compliance, and manage the maintenance team.

The role requires hands-on leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors. On-site living is included with a generous rent discount; you must be available for weekends, evenings, and holidays as

Qualifications

• Proven experience with maintenance repairs or management.
• Knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Solid understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Ability to lead daily tasks and maintain schedules.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assigning Tasks, creating processes for assigning, completing and reporting on maintenance requests.
• Hiring and training new employees.
• Inspecting systems such as plumbing, heating and HVAC systems.
• Ensure health and safety policies are compliant.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Perform any special projects assigned by the Community Director
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Department, including but not limited to: budgeting, scheduling, training, quality control, safety and compliance.
• Coordinate communication between management and staff regarding the status of maintenance projects
• Inspect building for signs of structural damage or other issues that could be a safety violation.
• Coordinate with contractors to take preventive maintenance updates.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Director oversees all maintenance of the Apartment units and Office Clubhouse. Being reliable with attention to detail is the first step to becoming a Maintenance Director.
