Job summary

Electra Grid Solutions is seeking an entry-to-intermediate level Distribution Overhead Lineman C in Louisiana. You will assist in constructing, repairing, and maintaining overhead and underground distribution systems under supervision, developing skills to advance to Lineman B.

The role involves physically demanding outdoor work, learning safety procedures, and supporting crew safety, productivity, and quality standards on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years in electrical line construction or lineman training/apprenticeship.
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights with proper safety gear.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; CDL-A preferred or can obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Learn to climb poles and work from bucket trucks.
• Support pole framing, line hardware installation, and wire handling.
• Load and stage materials and tools; keep work areas safe and organized.
• Participate in safety briefings and follow PPE protocols.
