Job summary

Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to support transmission and distribution operations at the Liberty Hill location. You will assist in digging, pole setting, and operating boom/truck equipment while progressing through climb school and apprenticeship milestones.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a Texas Class A CDL within six months, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain a valid Texas Class A CDL within first six months of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain line equipment as needed.
• Assist Linemen and crew with digging, pole setting, and material handling.
• Load/unload materials and prepare for daily projects.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety practices.
• Participate in safety training and climb school requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in project materials and tool readiness.
