Job summary

MaineHealth's MaineMedical Center is seeking a Linen Team Member to handle the pickup, processing and delivery of linen, including sorting, washing, drying and folding. The role may involve loading/unloading washers and dryers.

This position supports hospital operations and patient care by ensuring clean linen supply across departments. The team member works in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and quality, and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package; on-site roles

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant experience preferred.

Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for the sign on bonus. Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6months to be eligible.

Summary

The Linen Team Member role is responsible for the pick up, processing and/or delivery of linen. This role may also be responsible for the sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, including the loading/unloading of washers/dryers.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Experience: Relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $18.36to $21.31 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
