Job summary

Lincoln Hospital within MaineHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to join the Environmental Services Team. The role involves cleaning patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas to maintain cleanliness and safety, with evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM and a 40-hour workweek.

The position offers a $18.00–$20.70 per hour pay range, eligible for comprehensive benefits and a sign-on incentive for full-time hires; part-time staff are prorated.

The Environmental Services Team is one of the most important departments in the hospital. EVS Team Members are responsible for the cleaning and general upkeep of occupied and discharged patient rooms, the Emergency Department, ORs, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety. Work closely with all hospital staff to ensure patients receive the best care possible.

Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week, evening shifts. 2:30p-10:00p including weekends and major/minor holidays.

The Environmental Services Team Member role performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety.
