Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. in a long-term care setting is seeking a Laundry Worker to ensure clean, available linens and garments. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and support infection control practices to keep environments sanitary.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and positive interactions with residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred; no prior laundry experience is required. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/bend/walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
