Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure availability and cleanliness of items for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing items; operating laundry equipment safely; and keeping records while reporting issues to your supervisor. A positive attitude and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
