Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry gear safely, sort and distribute laundry, and support a sanitary environment while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are important. High school diploma preferred; previous laundry experience welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering quality service.
• All other duties as assigned.
