Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain linens and apparel for residents in our long‑term care facilities. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and distribute items, and ensure timely provision of clean textiles.

The role emphasizes infection control, safe handling of cleaning products, and positive interactions with residents and staff. A high school diploma is preferred and on‑the‑job training is provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Follow infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
