Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa seeks a dedicated Laundry Aide to efficiently operate laundry equipment, sort and fold linens, and provide exceptional service to guests and departments. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and the ability to work well with others in a busy resort setting.

Two Laundry Aide positions may require more heavy lifting and physical activity than the other; a high school diploma is preferred and prior laundry experience is valued to maintain quality and hygiene

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year previous Housekeeping/Laundry experience preferred
• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
• Positive, upbeat attitude and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate the laundry equipment safely as trained
• Maintain a high level of workplace safety
• Maintain the cleanliness and order of the laundry facility
• Monitor the quality of laundered linen/terry and report deviations
• Assist in any area of laundry as needed
• Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
