Job summary

Arbor Lodging Management is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure a steady supply of clean linens for hotel operations and guest services. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and treat linen, and manage supplies while complying with safety standards.

The role involves lifting, standing, and physical tasks, with responsibilities extending to maintaining a clean laundry area and supporting overall hotel profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Tend to laundry machines to clean articles such as rags, towels, banquet linens, and bedding.
• Sort and separate all linen and treat all stains.
• Load articles into washer and add detergent or other cleaning agents.
• Transfer and dry articles in appropriate cycles and sort by type.
• Fold and place items in proper locations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
• Maintain laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
