Job summary

Safire Rehabilitation of Southtowns in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Full-Time Laundry Aide to maintain clean linens and support daily resident care. You will collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry items while ensuring supplies meet residents' needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry items to residents.
• Label residents' personal laundry and linens as directed.
• Clean dryer filters as necessary.
• Ensure adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stock.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
• Keeps laundry carts clean and in good working order.
• Properly stores equipment, tools and supplies.
• Keeps a log of missing items, and returns them when found.
• Reports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisor.
• Reports any questionable resident conditions to supervisor.
