Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and clothing for residents in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items while upholding safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration and HCSG leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
