Job summary

PACS Group in Wichita, KS is seeking a general laundry and housekeeping assistant to support a nursing home. You will clean, sort, wash, dry and deliver linen, label garments, and ensure a sanitary environment for residents.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, maintaining supplies, and reporting equipment issues. GED or HS diploma preferred; 1 year experience preferred. The role is full-time with a supportive team and stable hours.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quantity of clean linen for residents.
• Maintain linen in good repair and remove damaged items.
• Collect laundry from residents daily or as needed.
• Label new resident clothing items as needed.
• Sort, wash, dry and fold clothing and linens.
• Deliver clean laundry items to resident rooms.
• Follow sanitary processes and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Report laundry equipment issues to the Administrator.
• Operate laundry equipment safely.
