Job summary

Scenic Eclipse aboard Scenic Cruises / Emerald Cruises seeks a skilled Tailor / Linen Keeper to join the Hotel Operations team. Provide tailoring services to crew and guests, repair uniforms and ship linens, and manage distribution of towels, linens and uniforms.

Ideal candidates have tailoring experience in 5-star hotel or cruise settings, familiarity with tailoring tools, and strong communication. English proficiency and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience onboard passenger vessels as a Tailor / Linen Keeper preferred but not essential.
• Good level of English - written, read and spoken.
• Knowledge and experience of operating and maintaining tailoring equipment.

This role involves providing high-quality tailoring services to crew and guests, repairing uniforms and ship linens, and managing the distribution and inventory of towels, linens, and uniforms. The successful candidate will work closely with the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure smooth operations and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in tailoring within a 5-star hotel or cruise environment, strong knowledge of tailoring tools and techniques, and excellent communication skills. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently under pressure are essential.
