Job summary

Scenic is seeking a Cabin/Laundry Steward/ESS for river cruise operations. You will perform daily cabin cleaning, turndown service, embarkation setup, and ensure guest comfort, while maintaining public areas and assisting with laundry per Scenic standards.

The role requires at least one year of housekeeping experience, plus background in 4*/5* hotel or cruise environments. A Swiss contract is offered with travel and medical expense reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a housekeeping department.
• Experience in 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships) preferred.
• Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and service of cabins, including turndown service and embarkation setup.
• Provide professional and courteous service according to company standards.
• Restock cabin amenities and maintain cleanliness in public areas.
• Handle guest and crew laundry as per company standards.

CABIN/LAUNDRY STEWARD/ESS

Duties:

• Daily cleaning and service of up to 16 guest cabins, including turndown service and
  embarkation setup
• Provide a professional and courteous service in accordance with company standards
• Restock cabin amenities as required
  
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas as instructed by the supervisor
• Distribute items such as gift orders to assigned cabins
• Maintain proper storage of all linen, uniforms, supplies, and equipment
• Knowledge of the daily programs
• Handle guest and crew laundry as per company standards, etc.

Your profile:

• Minimum one year of experience in a housekeeping department
• Experience in 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
• Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
• Familiar with a multicultural working environment
• Swiss Contract
• Reimbursement of travel and medical expenses
