Linen Distribution Technician - Summary

• Linen Distribution Technicians play an essential role in ensuring timely and accurate stocking of clean linens within healthcare facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stock and organize linen carts to meet established par levels throughout the hospital.
• Retrieve soiled linen carts from all designated areas as required.
• Respond promptly to linen requests from hospital staff, ensuring timely delivery of clean linens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general tidying as necessary.
• Stage and arrange linen carts for efficient distribution and access.
• Use Apple iPads or similar devices to count and record inventory accurately.
• Adhere to all Core Linen Services policies, including those regarding attendance, uniform standards, and equipment care.
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
• Interact professionally and courteously with hospital staff and team members at all times.
